When I was in college, instead of getting the trite Klimt posters every girl had on her dorm walls, I’d collect art postcards from the local coffeeshop and collage them. There were scores of them. (Here’s part of the collection.)
Between school years, I’d stack them in a tin lunchbox, and re-apply them in the next dorm room. I still have the stupid box.
In an effort to unfuck my living space, I want to get rid of them. But: it makes me sad just to trash them, as some of them are still perfectly serviceable postcards.
What I’m saying is: send me your mailing address, I’ll choose one at random and write one to you.
